He's a FISHY!

We took Aiden to the acquatic center on Sunday afternoon. We had so much fun in the water. We are so proud of him! He did GREAT! He loved being dunked and by the end he was sitting on the side and falling into my arms. I'm so happy he has Eric's love for the water. We were debating on swimming lessons this year and now I think I'm going to try and get him in during August. Can't wait to see what he does in the ocean!

Playin With My Peeps

Saturday evening we had Aiden's friends Emma and Nathan over for some FUN! Dawn and Lucas had a wedding to go to and we had a blast. We sam, played in the yard, cooked hot dogs, watched a movie, and ate cookies and ice cream :)

Syracuse Founder Days

We joined some friends on Saturday morning for the Syracuse Founder Days Parade. It was Aiden's first parade and he loved it :) Wasn't quite sure about the sirens as you can se above but once the girls started coming by and the floats with music were jammin by he was all about it! We had so much! We also headed down after naptime and had lunch and walked around the festivites in the park. Being the super mom I am..I rode the "ride" with Aiden :) He loved it!

Backyard Wonderland Update

So Eric (and I) have been busy in the backyard spreading dirt, mulch, and planting flowers! Here are some recent pictures after all the rain we've had. We can't believe how much the wild flowers have grown! Those are all from a little packet Eric sprinkled :) Now that's MY kind of planting!

Happy Father's Day!

Ok I know I'm a couple days late but we've been having so much fun I haven't had time to blog :)

Sunday we started Eric's day off with his favorite...Cracker Barrel! He was able to spend the day relaxing, playing with Aiden, and then we made him a yummy dinner with Pork Kabobs :)

He is so special and we are so lucky to have him in our lives. Thank you Daddy for all that you do. You cook for us, pick up our messes, love us, tickle us...let's face it...you're AMAZING!!

Daddy & ACE

I captured so many cute pictures of ACE & his Daddy this weekend. It's so adorable watching Aiden look at him with these adoring eyes. I love being able to witness it. Melts my heart!

Jets, Jets, Jets!!

We took ACE to see the planes at the Hill Air Show on Saturday morning. Eric has taught him to look for the planes and say "Jet" when they fly around during the week so we thought it would be fun to take him up close. We left early before all the really noisy planes took off. He was tuckered out by the time we left.

Splish Splash

Last Friday, Eric and I finished work and chores a little early to enjoy some fun in the sun with Aiden and our pals the Gundersons. Grandma and Grandpa Carter had taken Aiden to the Ogden Splash Pad earlier in the week but we thought it would be fun to go again.

It was a little chilly so he wasn't sure what to think at first but then he became more adventerous the more I took him out there.
