Lucas Anthony Guerra

Lil Lucas arrived this morning at 7:05 AM. He was 8lbs & 20 inches long!! We're so happy he's here! Mom and baby are doing great :)

And no this isn't Mom this is Auntie Kimmy :)

Lucas' Weekend Arrival

Oh happy happy day!!

Kristin (my fellow pregnant SIL) called today and we should have our new nephew by Monday morning!! YAHOO!!
Kristin has been my prego partner from day one so I'm thrilled that there is light at the end of the tunnel for her. Say a big prayer that everything goes alright for her. I'll have pictures of the lil munchkin online next week!!

Good luck Kristin!! Eric and I wish we were there!! LOVE YOU BUNCHES!!

We've Got Ourselves a BIGGIN!!!

Hello Everyone!

I had another Dr. Appt today. Luckily at my clinic I get an ultra sound with every visit. So our lil Aiden measured 4lbs this morning! She said we're looking around 8.5lbs at delivery. So I guess it's good to know that this heavy feeling in my belly is him and not just the chocolate sundae I had last night. HAHAHA

She said he's head down and the bumps around my belly button are his little feet! Or big feet WHO KNOWS! HAHA One thing is certain EVERYTIME Eric puts his hand on my stomach Aiden kicks him. So either he loves the heat from Eric's hand or he's saying "GET YOUR HAND OFF MY MAMA!!" hee hee. Oh let's PRAY he's my mama's boy in the making!!

Well I'll have another update from the Doc in a couple of weeks. We're going every two weeks now! He'll be here before we know it!!

Monday Thoughts...

Happy Monday....oh wait it is Monday isn't it? Nevermind!! :)
Nothing much going on at the Edwards house this week but I thought I'd post a blog anyway.

Easter...
I hope everyone had a great Easter. The weather here was BEAUTIFUL! Still in the 50's but the sun was shining and it just made for a good day. We went to Preston and Teri's house for dinner. Marty helped Teri cook and everything was yummy! I posted some pics under the Easter 2008 photo album.

Reading...
Well I got through all the books in the Twilight series. VERY GOOD! Can't wait for the fourth one to come out. My friend Monique suggested "Eat, Pray, Love" so I started that over the weekend. It's about a woman in her mid 30's who divorces her husband and travels the world to find herself. So far it's been pretty good. I have to say that it's probably me 6 years ago. In any case...I'll let you know how it is.

Aiden...
He's doing GREAT! Squirming as I type. He's getting big...as is his MOM! HAHA I have another ultra sound this Wed. so hopefully all will be OK! Then I get to start going to the Dr every two weeks. We're on the downard slope now! 9 MORE WEEKS!! WOO HOO!!

Eric...
Eric is doing good. Finishing up little projects on the house and spending time cleaning up the yard. He's also been working on finding a contractor to come install tile in the basement. We're hoping to have that finished soon. I know he'll be relived to have that all done.

Tucson...
I'm traveling next Wednesday to Phoenix for work. Then I get to spend Thursday - Sunday with Grandma Carter in Tucson. I can't wait for some relaxation and SUNSHINE!! It will be my last trip before the lil munchkin arrives.

Well I think that's about it for my random Monday thoughts :) I hope everyone is doing well.

Aiden's Baby Shower

Happy Easter Everyone!!


I just wanted to post a couple of pictures from Aiden's baby shower. I still haven't made it over to Carol's to get the CD of pics but I'll do it soon I promise! That way I can upload the whole photo album.


You can't tell she's my mom can you?? I was so happy they came. I just wish Eric's parents could have been there too.




I love this picture of proud papa and his diaper belt :) Eric's Mom made this adorable belt full of all the necesseties a proud papa needs for taking care of Aiden. He wore it proudly during the shower. I can't wait to see him hold Aiden! 9 weeks to go!!

Aiden's Room

Hi Everyone!!

I wanted to share pics of the almost completed baby room :) It looks adorable if I must say so myself. Thanks to both Grammy's for helping us complete his room. You guys are the bestest!!

One More Week Down

Hello Friends!

Well we are one more week down. Nothing overly eventful happened this week but I thought I should checkin anyway :)

I start a new class tomorrow so I enjoyed the week off between classes. Although microeconomics does not sound exciting so I'm dreading the next four weeks a bit. I suppose anything to keep me busy will make the time go by faster.

I finished reading the second book in the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. Who would have thought I'd love reading about vampires and mortals who fall in love :) HAHA Pregnancy is doing a number on my brain. In any case, if you like fantasy type novels you'll love this one. I do recommend it. I'm working on the third novel in the series now.

Eric spent Saturday with Preston enlarging the entrance to our attic. Our central AC is going in this week so they needed better access to get the equipment up there. I know Eric will be relieved when that's all over. I told him yesterday because we're putting the AC in this year, the weather won't reach over 90 degrees :) It will be just our luck!

We also had Aiden's recliner delivered yesterday. Although I'm not a big fan of the bulky recliner now....I'm sure I'll be loving it at 2am once he's here. His room is coming along nicely. We've got most the furniture in there. I'd like to find a table for next to the chair and a book shelf. However, we're running out of room to put furniture in there, so we'll see.

Ma and Pa Carter get here Friday for a long weekend to celebrate with us at Aiden's baby shower. It will be great to see them :) I'm sure my mom will freak when she see's her little girl with a big ol' basketball :) Pictures are one thing but the real life experience is another thing! HAHA

A Boy & His Toy...

Here is the new pitter patter of Eric's heart :) We upgraded his truck over the weekend. Figured four doors and better gas mileage will come in handy after May. As Preston said "I don't think I've ever heard him giggle like a school girl....".
