Emotions, Emotions, & More Emotions

What a crazy couple of weeks it's been. Hmmmm where to start....

I'm completely amazed at how Facebook has transformed my life. It's been such a great way to reconnect with old friends and family. I love it that most of my family is on there. Since my Dad died I haven't really felt connected to his side of the family, except for just a couple of people. Facebook has allowed me to reach some of the others and see what's happening in their lives. It's also allowed me to reconnect with my sister Kristy and my brother Mike. I haven't seen them since the few months following my Dad's passing. So much has happened in the 9 years we've spoken. One thing is for certain...it's like I haven't missed a beat with Kristy. She's always been such a spontaneous spirt. She lives in the moment and follows her dreams and it's so inspiring for me. I really feel that the holy spirit has brought us together again and this time I hope for good. I love the idea of my children knowing her. It's like having a piece of Dad back.

On the other side of the house is the emotional roller coaster of Gramma Jean. My Gramma's husband Ron isn't doing well and needs to go to a nursing home. My Mom and her siblings have been struggling helping to get living arrangements planned out. I know it's been a lot of stress for my family and it just plain sucks getting older.

We were able to get a break in St. George last weekend. Our friends Teri and Dave were married it a beautiful ceremony. The looked so happy. I pray that they have a long and happy life together. Teri was so beautiful! I can't wait to see their pictures. We were also able to see Gramma and Papa Carter. Watching Aiden bond with them was nice. He certainly loves his Papa's.

Last but not least has been work. I'm absolutely drained and starting to have anxiety about how this working Mom is going to do it with TWO! I haven't been getting home until 6 or 7 and it's put a lot of stress on me relying on Eric so much. I'm so thankful he's an amazing partner and I pray that things will come together soon.

Well that's my brain dump for the night...lots on this Momma to Be's mind. Hope you're all doing well!
